Forgot to add, its just about out of town but close enough that if theres an event with live music until 6am(!) like this saturday night, you will hear it. I would be cautious/avoid staying at the weelend.

This is one of those places that makes the road feel worth every kilometer. Nestled near the River Madrejon, it’s the perfect spot to rest, connect with nature, and set off on a kayak adventure down the calm, beautiful waters. The atmosphere is peaceful, with plenty of space to breathe and unwind. Ivan, the owner, and his son Baltazar are incredibly welcoming — the kind of people who make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Always ready to help, they share great tips on where to go, what to see, and stories about the region. Ivan is an expert on the local Indigenous communities, and talking with him gives you a deeper sense of the land and its people. A must-stop for travelers who love authenticity, kindness, and the spirit of adventure.

Beautiful place next to a river in the middle of the chaco. Did not swim bc the water was really low. Has a freezer and outdoor kitchen (bbq, pizza ofen). The owner Ivan is really nice. Paid 1000 pesos to stay.
